Hydra
Hydras are hard to kill, they have numerous heads and whenever you cut one head off another two grow to replace it. Thankfully, when left to its own devices, the hydra is a cantankerous creature and will often argue with itself rather than rampaging destruction. Many RPGs like to do without the two head regeneration of the hydra since it’s far too hard to write rules for. Phew.

well... i went to the semi last night... ^_^
it was SO fun.
the theme was "Mardi Gras" so we all got beads and coins when we went into the room where the dance was. (you know how if a guy gives a girl beads, she's supposed to take her shirt off?? well a few of my friends and i decided that the coins meant the same for guys... good times, good times... and also, since were wearing dresses, the whole bead thing didn't apply to us. nevertheless i got a lot of beads... XD)
hmmm.... at the beginning of the dance they played a bunch of older songs, which was good (I asked the DJ if he had any Clash, and he said no, and i cried) dksexpistolska and i danced loudly to "Twist and Shout" because it's a funny song.
ok.... slow songs... fortunately, i had a dance for every one except one where the guy i was going to dance with went to eat.Stupid Goldfish.
took a ton of pictures, and had some pictures taken of me, so you'll be able to see them soon.
one of the times sheenaman and i were dancing, we decided it was boring and decided to tango/waltz during one of the slow songs... ^_^ we got a bunch of odd looks.
as i got home at 10:30, and was tired, i didn't really take a shower last night. today, my feet are caked in gym-floor crap. yep.

hmm... not much happened today... i have to stay at school until 5:30 so i prbably won't be able to IM any of you later... :*(
Drama was fun today... we played "Hunter Hunted" which is a game where you tag two people who have to keep their eyes closed while they try and find an empty paper towel roll. once one person has the roll, they have to try and hit the other person with it.... it's fun, yet sadistic. :)
Not much else happened... It's been a pretty good day... except for the whole staying thing. I did two new oekakis here and my name is "The Ghastly Marquessa" (and if that's not pretentious enough for you, i don't know what is...)

since we have a semi tomorrow i will demand that jay takes a picture of me for all of you. ^_^ I already have a good one, but it would be kind of dim just to post one at a time :\

I haven't updated for awhile, so I'm sorry if you missed me (you know you did... ;))
I had a dance last nite (the one with Bancroft that had gotten cancelled before because of the weather) it went pretty well... The music was extra-ordinarily bad, even for a dance at our school, and the strobe lights were scary. at one point, my friend Luke and i were planning to have seziures, but we ended up not. as things always do at dances, things got progressively weirder towards the end. by the end of the dance, dksexpistolska, sheenaman, and a few other people and i were doing the "hora" around random slowdancing couples. in fact, after doing it around one guy that all of us hate, the girl he was slowdancing with ran away crying, which was a little bit funny but a little bit sad (going to school with the people i go to school with, you have to expect these things...)
Today, for some reason i rented movies. the first movie i saw was "Fear Dot Com".
Le Review 1: When looking up the definition of "Bad Movie," "Fear Dot Com" should be the first on the long list of movies. This movie didn't even try to be scary. in fact, at one part my dad walked in and (quoth the dad) "what are you howling about?" since i have a dvd player on my computer, i was able to see the "special deleted scene: 'the mushroom factory' which was basically this immense man hitting his computer with a baseball bat as people who looked like mushrooms attacked him. then the idea came to me: what the HELL is a "musroom factory"? people don't grow effing MUSROOMS in FACTORIES!!!! at this point, i decided that this was one of the worst movies i've ever seen (right up there with "Reanimator") and decided to watch the second move, "Spirited Away"
Le Review 2: In contrast to "Fear Dot Com," "Spirited Away" was wonderful. the sets were beautiful, and the plot was very well bound, for an anime movie. "Spirited Away" won an Oscar, and to be honest, it really DID deserve it. the only complaint that i had about the entire movie was that Sen's voice was very whiny and obnoxious. other than that, it was possibly the best full length anime movie I've seen (which isn't really saying much)
So if you actually take my advice, it's quite obvious that if you want a laugh, rent "Fear Dot Com" and if you want to see an actual movie, rent "Spirited Away"
